1965 Gibson SG Standard in its original and still vibrant cherry red finish. This has the more desirable early '65 1 and 11/16th nut width and a mixture of nickel and chrome parts. The original frets play great up and down the neck and the all original electronics sound excellent. There were once Schaller tuners on it, but the originals are back on (6 exposed screw holes on the back) and slight evidence on the front of the headstock at certain angles. There was also once a top mounted Bigsby, but the original maestro is back on, the only evidence (without taking off the Maestro) of this is one screw hole on the side and a slight cutout of the pickguard. Nashville style bridge posts were installed on this, but the bridge is original. Lastly, someone cranked one of the tuner screws too hard and it cause the slightest crack emanating from the screw hole on ONLY the wing of the headstock, its really a non-issue. The pickguard screws and strap buttons are also not original (I might have some in the parts drawer). So yes, it has a few minor issues, but you're saving ~$8k because of this stuff on a guitar with all original electronics, finish, and hardware with no major repairs. Please see all photos.

Comes with the Original Hardshell Case with one broken latch
