Gibson Les Paul Junior Double Cutaway 1959 - Cherry

1959 Gibson Les Paul Junior. 100% original except for the knobs. Some of the absolute coolest mahogany grain I've seen (especially on the back). Big neck with a monster tone. There was another set of tuners on it at one time, I put the originals back on. The only evidence that remains of this is a few extra screw holes under the footprint of the original tuners. The first 5 or so frets show some decent fret wear and may need to be addressed. It plays pretty well as is though (please see photos). The frets are original and I will let the next owner decide if they want a complete refret (so they can choose luthier, fret size, type, etc.) or a partial refret (it can definitely get away with a partial) or leave as is. The knobs are not original. The finish has aged to a nice dark burgundy and shows checking and dings. The neck is worn in many spots and the headstock has some edge wear. There are no breaks, wood cracks, or repairs and the truss rod works as it should.
