Gibson Les Paul Custom 1969 - Ebony OHSC
1969 Gibson Les Paul Custom. These have really shot up in value with all original ones now firmly around $20k and for good reason. 50's customs are out of reach for most. This is truly the best sounding Les Paul I've ever had (not just saying that). The neck pickup is perfectly clear (my biggest gripe with LP's - muddy neck pickups) and the bridge pickup stings exactly how you want it too. This guitar is all original except the frets. It plays perfect up and down the neck with no dead spots. This one is a three piece neck with a one piece body. There is overspray on the back of the headstock and a restamped serial number. This guitar has been shown in person to retrofret and I have looked at it extensively with blacklight as well: we cannot see a neck break, that doesn't mean it isn't there, but it is priced that way anyway. Either way, it is rock solid and done very professionally very long ago. Comes with the original hard case with a replaced handle (original included).
