First year Gibson Heritage Korina Flying V. This is part of the very limited run of guitars that Gibson decided to make in the very early 80's and are the first Korina reissues of the original 58 Gibson Flying V. Featherweight at exactly 6 LBS! When the box arrives after purchasing I thought I was scammed because it felt empty! This guitar is 100% original. It shows signs of use with some buckle rash, but the frets are in good shape and it plays up and down the neck flawlessly. The original Tim Shaw humbuckers sound great. For some reason extra screw holes were drilled under the jackplate (all not visible unless you remove the plate). Other than that, absolutely no issues. Comes with what may be an original case, but is at least era correct and in excellent shape.
