Just in from the original owner. This early 1959 Gibson ES-330 TD comes with the original case and original receipt! The total price was $306, bought at Durlauf Music Shop in Louisville, Kentucky. This example has survived perfectly. It is all original with the exception of the frets, that I just had professionally done, and an added strap button. The original frets were completely worn out. The original nut was saved/shimmed. The guitar plays like a dream and sounds excellent. I added a completely non-invasive spacer below the bridge pickup to balance out the pickups (a problem on nearly every 330 I have owned). Has the early, large 59 neck profile that is a joy to play.
Comes with the brown/pink Lifton hardcase (not always the case with 330s, sometimes they came with that cheap cardboard case) which is fully functional. 2 small areas of wood under the neck pickup mounts only were chiseled slightly to lower the neck pickup. This is not structural and can only been seen when the pickup is unscrewed
