Gibson ES-330 TDC 1963 Cherry
1963 Gibson ES-330 TDC. Perhaps one of the most underrated (and undervalued) "Golden Era" Gibson models. I've had a few of these and I've never been disappointed. This one plays great up and down the neck and sounds phenomenal. Boomy but not muddy neck pickup and a beautifully punchy dynamic bridge pickup. The volume and tone controls really work well with these pickups. Extremely light weight being that it is fully hollow. Super comfortable neck shape.
Few "issues": The binding on the bass side of the first 2 frets was replaced. It could easily be sprayed with a vintage tint lacquer to make it match the rest of the binding. There was a strap button installed that has since been removed and filled. And the bridge is a high caliber tone pros replacement (Posts and 4 thumbwheels are original). All else is original (pickups, electronics, tuners, pickguard, tailpiece, etc.) Some minor fretwear but it plays without buzzing up and down the neck.
