Fender Esquire 1958 - Butterscotch Blonde
This 1958 Fender Esquire has a body only refinish that appears to be professionally done. Someone added a Jim Rolph neck pickup (no routing, esquires come routed for a neck pickup from the factory). The original esquire pickguard was cut a little crudely for the neck pickup. The dark circuit caps have been removed (and are included), so now you have modern telecaster wiring setup with its original components (pots, switch, cap). The bridge pickup has been rewound by Jim Rolph as well. All else including the neck finish is original except for one of the intonation screws/spring and the frets. It has been very nicely refretted with Jescar 47095 frets and its plays perfectly. Just a note, the finish is a little less yellow than what is depicted in the photos. Comes the original caps, bridge cover and a new tweed case
