Gibson Custom Shop Duane Allman '59 Les Paul #69 (happens to also be the year the band was formed). This guitar is a reissue of the Les Paul that Duane Allman used to play with the Allman Brothers band during the 1970s on the live album "At Fillmore East", and "Eat a Peach" live. Made with '59 specs, it includes a pair of Gibson's custom bucker PAF pickups, and is finished in a lemon burst VOS finish. Other specifications include no pickup covers or pickguard much like Duane's, and replaced machine heads like his original.
This one has a killer top that is better than other examples of this run I have seen. Recently pro setup, it plays and sounds great. There is one ding on the side (photo'd) and one of the knobs has some internal cracks. 100% original with no modifications. The frets are in excellent shape. Comes with the original case and most of the paperwork (it is missing the blanket cover type thing and the COA). The owner is confident he will find the COA and get it to me (a photo copy of it is included).
