1971 Marshall Super Lead with a replica cabinet. The cabinet is of really high quality build using all of the correct materials. It is also loaded with 4 vintage speakers (2x 1970 Celestion T1281s and 2x 1969 T1217s). The amp has had a few mods which I will outline below, it has been recently serviced and has no issues/sounds great. The amp is modded with a master volume mod as well as some doctoring to goose and compress the gain.
Here are the details for work done on the head:
Power caps have been replaced (normal maintenance)
Power tranny was replaced. The one in there is a period correct Dagnall (verified by the 414 seen on the top) and was standard fare for heads between 1970-1972. The rest of the iron including the choke is original.
A Pre-V1 mod was done.
Two plugs in the faceplate were done for some past modding.
No holes in the backplate
The head comes with a padded case is a Studio Slips clamshell case made specifically for this head. It encases the entire head while providing some shielding from new dings if you're moving around with it.
