1965 Gibson SG Custom in a very nicely done white refinish. This is an early '65 with full 1 and 11/16" nut width. The story goes the original owner brought this to Dave Petillo 20 years ago to have a refret and redo the finish to look new. At the same time he replaced the 3 pickup covers again to look new. Luckily all other hardware is original. Since then the finish has nicely checked and its a really great refinish. I see no evidence of any breaks or repairs. The only modification I did to this was swap the middle and bridge pickups because the middle was a little hotter and it sounds amazing now (original leads were not modified for this). So the only parts not original on this are the frets, nut, pickup covers and finish. It plays and sounds great after its recent pro setup. Comes with a really cool 1970's Gibson Artist Paisly SG case.
