1965 Gibson Firebird III Non-Reverse. It’s been refinished in Polaris white, most likely a very long time ago based on its aging. It looks absolutely awesome. This guitar plays and sounds great. The bridge, knobs, and half of the trem system (not currently engaged) are not original. The tuners are period correct and it had different set(s) on previously. All three Pickups and the pots are original, but the wiring has been worked on. It’s been rewired to 3 volumes and one tone with: up position = neck and middle, middle position = all three, down position = middle and bridge. This gives you any kind of pickup combination you want (including having it act as a standard 2 pickup Gibson by just putting the middle pickup volume to 0). There is probably a neck break, but it’s difficult to see as it’s been painted over. It’s priced that way anyway. She is rock solid now and ready to go. The cracks currently shown on the neck, heel and headstock are all just finish cracks, not structural. The frets are a tad low/wide, but it still plays well including bends. Comes with a nice Gibson padded gigbag (not your average gig bag.
