1963 Gibson ES-335TD. A great year for the 335 as the neck finally starts getting a little chunkier again. This guitar has an extensive repair history so I will bullet what has been done. The good news is the pickups and harness are original:
-Headstock repair, overspray front and back of headstock
-Had a bigsby, holes filled, little overspray by end pin (none on top).
-Bridge and tailpiece non original (tailpiece studs are original, original or period bridge in case)
-Neck pick coverup is not original
-There was a hump in the neck beyond the 14th fret or so. The guitar was professionally refretted and fretboard planed beyond the 14th fret to make it playable.
-There are several black marker dot marks on the back, they can likely be buffed out.
-Tuners are double line nickel, but not original (direct drop ins)
Beyond that the guitar plays and sounds great and has 95% of its original finish. The knobs, pickguard, and switch tip are original. The truss rod works as it should. It comes in its original hard case as well.
