1962 Fender Stratocaster in a nicely done Daphne Blue Refinish. A great year for strats, this one is on the earlier side of the year and still sports the slab rosewood fretboard. This guitar is all original except for the bridge pickup cover, which is a genuine period correct cover that does not quite match the patina of the other two originals. The bridge and middle pickups have been rewound and releaded, but the neck still sports its original leads and winds. It had different tuners on at one time, the originals are reinstalled with conversion bushings (6 small holes at the back of the headstock have been plugged) and there is a little evidence on the front of the headstock from the previous tuners. There was also an extra string tree that was plugged. One if the tips of one tuner broke off, but the tuner still functions. The guitar was just professionally setup and plays/sounds great. We can talk about case options; I do not have the original. I do have some vintage cases and newer cases depending on pricing.
