1961 Gibson Les Paul Junior, first year for the SG shaped Les Paul. This guitar is in excellent condition with a still very vibrant cherry red finish. The bigsby/bridge are not factory, but were likely added very early in its life as they are period correct (perhaps dealer added). Only one of the top bigsby screws has been drilled into the body and there is virtually no shadow or finish damage under the bigsby. If you wanted to put a normal bridge on it, there would only be one screw hole on top. I think the bigbsy is awesome and it works pretty well on this guitar (also helps with the famous SG neck dive by adding more weight on the body). This guitar is in excellent condition with no real condition issues. The tuners are drop in repros, everything else is original. Comes with the original soft case.
