1957 Fender Stratocaster in its original blonde finish with ash body. These don't come up for sale too often. I bought this from the 2nd owner. This guitar is 100% original with the exception of the pickups being rewound by Tom Brantley in place (I sent him the entire body), all three pickups were dead when I purchased the guitar due to pole piece rust. The guitar now sounds absolutely phenomenal. At some point the original owner decided to install a small L shaped bracket to the bridge to block the tremolo. Therefore, one screw hole is filled on the top (no finish work done). The rest of the guitar is entirely free of any modifications or issues. June 57 neck and body, all original electronics/switch. The original frets show wear, but it plays well. Beautifully grained one piece ash body, the guitar weighs exactly 8 lbs. Comes with the original tweed case in fair condition, 1 latch is broken and 1 is a little wonky, but it does the job. I am missing the tremolo arm (trying to locate a period correct one), but it does come with the bridge cover.
