1957 Fender Esquire in an old butterscotch blonde refinish. This was a quality refinish job that is definitely old. The body and neck are original to eachother and both still have all their pencil dates/body is still mark "Esq" in pencil. The neck had overspray a long time ago that is almost worn through. Original parts include: pickup, neckplate, 5 of the 6 tuners, bridge, and control plate. There are currently repro saddles (Glaser) and switch tip, but the originals are included. The harness/switch date to 1960. The knobs, pickguard, and telecaster decal are repro. There are two neck repairs, one between the tuners which is super common and one at the heel. Both were repaired with glue/screws a long time ago judging by the age of the screws. Both seem solid. The guitar was expertly refretted and is playing/sounding great. Comes with a non original hardcase.
