1956 Gibson Les Paul Custom. One of the underrated (well maybe not so much anymore) 50's Les Paul models out there. No middle pickup in the way and the best (in my opinion) Gibson neck pickup. This is obviously a players grade guitar, it has had a professionally repaired headstock. The entire back of the neck was resprayed and aged to match the body. The respray is very well done and convincing, no shaving of the neck either. This guitar also at some point had a bigsby and now the holes are filled (hard to see in natural light). The entire body has original finish and it is heavily checked in the best way. The electronics are all original and completely untouched. The bridge and tailpiece are very worn and look the part, but are from the mid 60s. The tuners are direct drop in replacements, but the originals are included. The guitar has been refretted perfectly with proper 59 sized wire. It plays and sounds phenomenal. It is also super lightweight right at 9 lbs. Comes with the original full functional, but worn case.
