1956 Gibson ES-175 in Natural (Blonde) finish. This guitar has original owner provenance. David L. Horner was likely in the USO (playing for troops) as his name and military I.D. # are painted onto the outside of the case. A copy of a photo of David playing the guitar in 1956 is included. Just professionally setup, this guitar is a joy to play. The original finish is in excellent shape with very little checking and/or dings. The back of the neck is worn through in a few spots. This guitar is all original except the two tone pots (were completely shot when I received the guitar, originals included) and the tailpiece (so many of this style of tailpiece break). There was a jack crack repair which is very common on these, my luthier assured me that it is solid (please see photos). The only other thing of note is at one point there was another style of tailpiece so there are 2 extra screw holes on the side (basically completely covered by the current tailpiece). The original case is included and in a little bit of rough shape, but functional.
