1954 Gibson Les Paul "All Gold". This was bought straight from the original owner in Richmond, VA. Richard was a navy man and brought this all throughout his deployments in the Caribbean and Mediterranean in the 60's. He played the hell out of it. Over the years it needed some replaced parts, these include:
-Jackplate (broken original included)
-Switch (broken original included)
-Tuners (originals included, they need buttons, I am searching for good ones to order)
-Nut
-Pickguard (is a good repro, bracket is original)
-Switchtip
-Capacitors are later 50s bumblebees
At some point in the 80's Richard put a p90 sized humbucker in the bridge. He kept the original in the case and I reinstalled. No routing was required. Pots are all original as is the bridge, studs, knobs, pickup covers, and frets. The finish is 100% original and there are no breaks or repairs. The guitar plays and sounds great. Comes with the original brown lifton hard case. Weight is 8 lbs 15 ounces.
